Prime
PRIME
The basic version of an EasyGreen prefabricated home
1. What is the Prime system
Prime is EasyGreen’s basic construction proposal. A complete, properly studied, and reliable home, designed to offer modern living with controlled cost.
It is not a “cheap solution”, but the basic version of a modern home system.
2. Who it is for
Prime is an ideal choice for holiday and tourist homes, for owners who want safe construction with cost control, as well as for investments where simplicity and reliability are priorities.
3. Construction philosophy
Prime is based on a timber load-bearing structure and industrialized production.
The total thickness of the external wall ranges from 180 to 245 mm, depending on the structural and design study requirements, without any compromise in safety.
4. Energy performance
Indicative annual energy consumption for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water:
approximately 35.3 kWh/m²·year
This value is comparative and indicative. The calculation estimate was carried out using the PHPP software, based on a specific 85 sq.m. home in Spata, Attica.
The actual consumption of each home depends on the geometry of the building, its orientation, location, shading, heating/cooling systems, the way it is used, and the habits of the residents.
5. What it includes
Prime includes the complete basic construction of the home, according to the system’s Specifications Guide.
It includes the basic construction works of the home, internal linings, basic electrical and plumbing installations, as well as the basic equipment specified in the specifications, such as kitchen, wardrobes, sanitary ware, and other elements.
Window shutters, heating/cooling system, and domestic hot water system are not included, unless added as additional options.
6. What to expect
It forms the foundation of EasyGreen systems, with the option for upgrades.
External wall layer build-up of Prime / Hybrid systems
The external wall construction of the Prime and Hybrid systems is based on a timber load-bearing structure made from Nordic Spruce structural timber and a layering of materials that work together for:
- structural adequacy
- thermal insulation
- airtightness
- protection against moisture and weather exposure
The timber frame is filled with thermal insulation material and clad with OSB structural boards, creating a stable and durable structural system.
Externally, a thermal insulation system with graphite EPS and final render is applied, while internally the wall is completed with fire-resistant plasterboard.
The total thickness of the external wall in the Prime system varies depending on the requirements of the structural and energy study, usually from approximately 180 to 245 mm.
